Monday - Sacred Places - Deuteronomy 12:5
We know and have been taught that the place of worship is important. Whether it is under a tree in the bush country, or the market place, or if it is the Temple, itself. The standard that was set in Deuteronomy was a place of God's choosing, the place where He will put His Name. We know that the New Testament teachers us that we are the temples of God and that He desires to place His Spirit within our hearts, our souls, our spirits. We are to praise Him fully in those places and establish them as sacred places for worship.
Tuesday - Mt. Gerizum - Deuteronomy 11:29
The mountain that the woman at the well made reference to as the place for the fathers of the Samaritans to worship was also the mountain from which Joshua was to declare the blessings from God upon the people after the Israelites inhabited the Promise Land. Later on after the exile, the Samaritans worshipped there seeking the blessings of God upon there people, after they were not permitted to help in the rebuilding of the Temple on the return from Babylon.
Wednesday - Universal Worship - Romans 14:11
What Jesus was pointing towards in His conversation with the woman at the well was that very time when, as Paul described it, "As surely as I live," says the Lord, "Every knee shall bow before Me, every tongue will confess to God." A quote that was being made ready for fulfillment from the time of Isaiah and is coming quickly, according to God's timing. There will be no need for all the different places or settings but we will be gathered together as one, in one accord, proclaiming one message, "He Is Lord!!!"
Thursday - Spiritual Knowledge - John 8:31-32
The knowledge that comes to us by believing in Jesus as the Christ brings about a deliverance from the bondage of the mindset that this world (society) would like to push upon us. If we hold to the Spiritual knowledge that can be ours we will be set free and experience that freedom to the fullest possible end. It is what Paul stated to those he wrote to in Romans 12:1-2. This knowledge which leads us to give ourselves total is a renewing of our mind that is no longer pressed or conformed to be like everybody else's way of thinking, but is free to be what it was fully created to be in Christ Jesus.
Friday - Spiritual Dawn - 2 Peter 1:19
The truth we have about who Jesus is and represents, is that bright light that brings illumination to all the blessings that God has desired to lavish on us that is a part of His love. It is a lamp that shines in the darkness that no one is unable to see for it is the light of the morning star that rises in our hearts and not just on the horizon. When we seek to worship the Lord we will be guided by the light that directs us into the Presence of , the One who is worthy of praise. And we will have to enter into that light of truth to worship the One who is True. When we think of the first time that we came to Jesus as our Lord, we were awakened in our hearts by the spiritual truth of a new beginning, a new dawning in our lives, leading us to live by His grace and Mercy
Saturday - Christ as Teacher - Matthew 4:23-25
Jesus gained a reputation as being a great teacher, not because of the fancy words that could be uttered but by the response of the people to see that His words went beyond just something to listen to but brought about the healing of bodies, souls, and minds that were in such desperate need of help. They heard His words as having authority so the people brought other people to hear and to be touched by the truth of His teaching.
